Im feeling something in the steering wheel. The front end seems tight and tracks straight but it feels like something is worn especially during a tight turn.

Ive got another buddy that has the same truck and its doing the same thing. Had another buddy have the same problem and if memory serves me correctly. It had something to do with the steering collumn.

Is this a common problem, Any input???

Search for Intermediate Steering Shaft (ISS).

Another thing to consider (if your running a bigger tire than stock 245's) is Idler/Pitman Arm

Its The Stering Shaft Most Likely, You Can Take It Loose On The Top Side, At Stering Colum, And Stroke It In And Out Several Times That Will Cure It, But Ck Out All Linkage To Be On Safe Side, Also My 02 Under The Dash At Bottom Of Stering Collum There Is A White Bushing That Can Slip Down, If It Has Push It Back Up And Be Sure It Latches In Place.
