No mater what time of day or temp outside when the truck gets started for the 1st time it seems to miss when you take off easy if i give it alot of diesel it will go fine but when i let off it will still miss with just alittle diesel. sometimes it clears up within a few block sometimes not for awhile even when the temp gets up to about 180. the truck can be parked for the rest of the day and it will be fine when started later

7. Fuel filter condition (freshly changed/condition unknown/mileage since changed) OLD HAS A WATER SEPERATOR ON THE FIRE WALL
8. Condition of Battery terminal connections (removed, cleaned and tightened) JUST CLEANED ALL OF THEM

8b. Are batteries of differing age or are they a matched set? 2 MONTHS APART
8c. Condition of Major Grounds (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=157085). (same drill as batt - removed, cleaned, retightened) DIDNT CHECK
9. Upon cold start, does the radiator hose get hard quickly? Yes/no NO

12. Have you used the block heater, and does this effect engine starting?(only try for starting problems) NO NEVER USED

14. Do you have any unusual exhaust smoke issues? NO

24. Location of PMD/FSD (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39436)? On the pump/remoted over intake/remoted out of engine bay (please specify placement specifically) WAS ON INTAKE I MOUNTED IT BEHIND THE BUMPER ON THE FSD MOUNTED TO THE SKID PLASTIC
24a. If remote mounted, describe wiring harness (homemade or purchased from a vendor?) 6' ONE PURCHASED OFF EBAY PROBLEM STARTED BEFORE RELOCATION
24b. Indicate the location and condition of the FSD/IP grounding wire. ON THE TOP OF THE PUMP
25. Are ALL glow plugs in proper working order as per this thread (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39182)? THEY SEEM FINE

Sounds like a leaking injector (bleeds down after sitting) or it has a bad spray pattern
