Well, I went out & bought my first diesel. I bought a 2005 GMC 2500 Crew Cab 4x4. I have 1500 miles on it so far & love it. I'm looking at bumping the performance level up & found this forum to pick some of your brians. This is going to be an educational process on my part. Been in the gas world up until now.

I'm looking at buying the Banks Bundle Kit or a kit the has Edge w/ attitude monitor, Banks Exhaust, & K & N filter kit. The Banks costs more by about $500.00. They claim the same power as Edge but much lower EGT's. I know alot of you have been at this for sometime & would like to hear your input before I pull the trigger.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

i have a 04 1/2 lly and i installed the afe intake, mbrp exhaust, and the edge w/ attitude and i am very happy. it is hard to stay out of the accelerator. with a little power brake action, the wheels will start spinning and will lay a fourty foot burnout no problem. so far the only thing i dont like is the mbrp 4" stainless exhaust was not as loud as i wanted, almost sound like a stock muffler?

I have the Edge/Attitude, and have had no problems at all. I utilize all of the features of the Attitude. It's great !
