Does anyone have any ideas why a GM-SL interface would not turn on the heated seats/mirrors even if the temp is below 0C (as per its docs)?

Would this be solely triggered by the interface itself when it detects the vehicle being remote started? Considering the connections to the GM-SL itself, you'd think this would be fairly straight forward since it uses the data bus to turn the stuff on.

Thanks :)

When initially installed, I had the same on a GM-SL. I reprogrammed it (for a 2nd time) and it's worked ever since ('06 Yukon XL). Prior to that it would do weird stuff like turn on the "low tire pressure" lamp and "stability", among other things. I'd definitely try programming it again.

Remote start should turn on the heated seats if the temp is low enough and if you have the automatic climate control. Also, I don't think heated mirrors are activated on remote start.
