one of our farm trucks has no brake lights, pulled it into shop to do some checking,so far found along with no brake lights when you put the 4 ways on it will blow the stop /hazard fuse, put a new fuse in still no stop lights .
anyone know where and what to start looking for?sounds like a short ? letting it dry off tonight ,some one point me in the right direction?

First place is check the trailer plug-- probably a short-- do you have turn signals? The brakes and turn signals are usually the same wiring-- the wiring from the brake switch runs to the turn signal switch then is seperated into the left brake and the right brake. Could also be the turn signal switch.

Some of those older trucks had problems with the circuit board in the tail light assembly. I think it was mostly on trucks older than yours, but it is worth checking. I also agree with checking the trailer harness and the turn signal switch.
