Not really related to anything but thought it was a good "what not to do" when it comes to trucks/firewood.

Kind a reminds me of Hoot's truck.

Note the maroon color of the truck and the guy's sweater. This id's him as a Texas Aggie. It seems he was not aware you should cut and split your firewood BEFORE you load it.....hehehe.

Guys,

This just shows that a short bed 1500 just can handle the load...

The larger the load .. the bigger the truc...

Hoot can vouch for that, except he was cutting any wood!

He knows his wife will let him buy a new Dmax now. Stuff like that happens to me and I just can help but laugh.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I went to my vacation property one day, and notice a truck on the back side of the porperty. Upon further investigation there is guy laying on the ground with a severely broken leg and a tree across his truck. It was a guy stealing firewood from my place and had been for a while. The tree was falling toward his truck so he got between them, well you know what happend then.

The golf ball sized dent on the passenger side of my bed reminds about the parking distance away from the tree. Good thing I had that homemade wood rack to break the tree's fall.
