95% of racers/draggers/pullers dont have an upgraded intercooler in their sig. Why is this? guys are running 10s,11s, and 12s on stock intercoolers. why does everyone pretty much see no need? Seems like they would help allot for their relatively low price of a 1K compared to other pricey upgrades.

Factory IC's pretty well designed/built. I know among the PSD's and CumminGs it's pretty common to do IC upgrades, but it seems like for the most part the factory IC is sufficient.

that thread is dead with no new info and no eta....On a side note PPE who is one of our supporting vendors was having a sale on their intercoolers which are spearco's. Best price you will find, if you are in the market get ahold of dan from ppe.

wasnt really interested in them becaues most people dont upgrade them, but i was just curious.

The issue seems to pretty much get solved with a turbo.
