Ok, so I just got back from a 2200 mile trip, 1100 of it towing a 10K lb boat. Truck ran flawless. So today I am back and running some errands, and the light changes and I go to take off and nothing happens. The engine revs up, but no movement. Then it starts slowly slipping and takes off. Next light, nothing, it won't go at all. I panic and drop it down into 1, and the tires chirp (whoops) and it takes off. I put it back in drive, and the rest of the day it is fine like nothing ever happened. After all this was over, I noticed the tranny temp had come up quite a bit, but then went back to normal, and no problems now.

What the heck happened? Anybody ever heard of that before?
