My '01 7.3 psd excursion stalls at idle speed, especially when rainy or wet out. The vehicle starts easily immediately after stalling. It sometimes will try to stall when travelling at highway speeds resulting in a hard jolting feeling and sound. When the vehicle has been taken for inspection to the dealer, (still under warranty) of course, it does not stall for them. Does this ring a bell or sound familiar to anyone...Please help, and thanks in advance, adcgrp, A new member.

Cam Positioning Sensor may be suspect. Notorious for being intermittant-

Yes, cam position sensor is suspect. I too have an excursion and always have a spare in my little tool box. It only takes a 10mm socket and small rachet to change.
