2006 LBZ took to dealer today for transmission line, I deprogramed Bully dog power pup before taking it in. On my way home the check engine light came on (while in stock mode). While reprogramming with Bully dog I checked the code and it was P2610. Does anyone know what this code means?

2610 ECM/PCM internal engine off timer perf.:) Im not sure but i would try to clear this code and see if it pops again. i think it was from trying to upload your bully dog again and the software wasnt timed with the PCM right? Just a guess.

if the code sets again try this:

If P2610 is set, turn the ignition OFF and then completely disconnect the ECM harness connector from the ECM for approximately 1 minute. Reinstall all of the ECM connectors and then attempt to clear codes with the scan tool.

The code just means that you left the ignition on for too long. Probably when you went back to stock programming from your bully dog. No problem, very common. Just clear it with your programmer, and don't worry about it. It will not cause the truck to go into limp mode or anything. Clear it and your good to go!

After changing any program, I always go back and recheck to see if there are any DTC's, just to be sure.
