My truck is in trouble, it will not start, will turn over fine, i gave it a lil shot of ether and it started rite up and when you drive it you have to excellerate very slow on the pedal if you floor it the truck feels like it goes into limp mode and just poors out white smoke and does go anywhere until you let off the gas and there is no diesel in the oil the truck idels fine, it has a new fuel filter and i have primed it. i took the truck to the dealer and they said it was the injectors but they would not go into detail or show me the printout and my truck has rebuilt title so un eligable for 7 year 200,000 mile warrenty I WAS WONDERING IF IT COULD BE THE CP3 !! please help thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Change your fuel filter and see if that helps.
And leave that either in the tool box before you regret that KABOOM!

i changed the filter and it looked ok but what is the difference from bad fuel in the system vs bad injectors that makes you guys think its fuel what would it act like if the injectors were bad and has anyone had bad fuel what do you do if it is and would it make it throw a code that the dealer would think it is the injectors??????????????

How many rpm's will it rev to until it goes into the "limp" that you're talking about? I think it's probably the fuel because mine did that last year and it wouldn't rev over about 2000 rpm's and 30 mph.

i dont exactlly recall the rpms i know it was low but i could get to 55 to 60 mph but it took like 2 miles of babying the throttle to get it there cause if you give it to much gas the rpms drop to idel speed and the truck poors out white smoke and doesnt go anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuel filter can cause 'limp mode' and sometimes only one bad tank of fuel will do it. Where did you get your fuel? Little gas station? If it's the injectors, find another dealer or someone with a tech 2.

Looks like you may have a communications issue somewhere. Maybe a fuel issue too; I'd get a sample of what's in the tank and change the filter again...

x2 on the either. That stuff was ok for lawn mowers and our old diesel equipment that was built in the 60's, but not in todays diesels. Unless of course you like snapped rings and holes in your pistons.
