I was flippin threw my Truckn and found an add for clear/superclear/and smoked cab lights...

They've been on Ebay for about six month's now from Recon. Just bought a set for $48 plus $10 shipping...

Apparently the seller doesn't realize he/she should use 'Silverado' in the description ...I had a heck of a time finding them also. Note they cost $99 though on eBay. I want to know where they can be found for $50 :)

That's exactly the one's I just bought... Don't know why they sold for so cheap, but I looked at the $99 auctions too... Couldn't pass up the one for $48 though. It was exactly the same image and they came in that exact box... Maybe they were stolen :confused:

I bought clear though and I'm thinking smoke would look better after the fact :rolleyes: If someone has or buys a set of smoked I'd like to see a pic in the daytime and another at night with the lights on...

Sp33d, I think you may have lucked out and won one of the auctions where they misadvertised the cab lights. I noticed they also sell 98-02 clear lenses only for around $38 or so. Nevertheless I like your deal much better. :)

so they are clear or smokes lenes with what color light bulbs? or at least what kind of bulb is it so i can see what color choices i have.

They come with "super white" bulbs according to the text on the auctions. Although I haven't seen them turned on in person yet, I would presume they'd be bright white with a blue tint to them, light most super white bulbs.

Like a few other people, I have been looking for the smoked lights as well. I have found them but am hesitant to 'pull the trigger' until I see them installed on someone's truck. Does anyone have the smoked installed :cool: they are willing to post some day and night pictures of? ;)

I've looked everywhere and can't find 'em.

You know, if anyone in Central/South Texas has installed a set of lights like that - and would be willing for help me put a set of those on my truck - why I'd be grateful enough to buy a few cases of beer and a whole mess 'o barbque for their trouble.

go for it man! it's not nearly as hard as you would think. look up the post with instructions and pics from a month or two ago. i put em on my truck and love em, it was a very easy install. i think topdog is the one who posted his how-to.
