I've seen my question asked on here but it wasn't addressed. Can the DPF be removed, gutted, welded back together and reinstalled without having to program a DPF delete? That thing is the ONLY thing I don't like about my truck.

No, you will still get codes. You will still need tunning to get rid of the codes.

the way i see it, if you find a way to fool the differential pressure sensor you could, but the problem is you will need to create the same back pressure in the system as the dpf does. this would negate any gains eliminating it would make; aside from removing the regen process

The ecm will go into limp mode for not having regens in xxx miles though.

plus, it will regen even if the dpf is empty, so any fuel savings goes out the window.

It's running great no problems at all, I've had it done since my truck was less than a month old, Pretty much all the issues that some people have had, have already been fixed in updates. Don't worry you'll be fine:)

Yes, twice and no problems, didn't even take the race tune out of it. I can't see it being a problem unless it caused something else to go bad. My dealer is cool about it.
