Does anybody know if my truck has the chrome caps.

On my GM print out it says:

> >> Q9A : Wheel Trim Rings

I don't like the fact that it says wheel trim rings, does this mean it's just the steel wheels with the chrome rings and not the chrome covers?

If it's the one in your Avatar, then they are chrome, plastic, wheel covers.

No, I haven't gotten my truck yet but that is pretty much exactly the same.(Except maybe the wheels.)

My sig duallie has the chrome wheel simulators. I popped off all four when I was edumacating myself on my dual tires (first duallie for me) and never bothered putting them back on. Don't know if I ever will, I kind of like the look without them.

I also have the QR5 and Q9A items in a list I got from my sales guy for my truck. Leads me to believe you'll also have the simulators.

P.S. After rereading your original post, I guess I don't know what you mean by chrome rings and chrome covers. In my case, the simulator for each wheel came out in two pieces - first piece was the central hub cover secured to the steel lug nuts by plastic, decorative "lug nuts", the second piece was the larger piece covering the remainder of the wheel. Are we talking about the same things? Check out the photos of my truck in my garage, there's a few good shots of the wheels and simulators before I took them off.

Ryanryan, I reinstalled my simulator center hubs and took photos of them and of the wheel simulators next to the tire. I'll try to attach the photos to this post. If that doesn't work, check out my garage. I didn't bother cleaning anything so they ain't too pretty. :D
