I am buying a 05 3500 w/ dump bed and it does not have cruise has anyone installed cruise and what brand and cost? It has a 6.6 duramax engine and is a auto.

Most are prewired and can simply have the multi-function switch swapped to a ACDelco D6299A or GM p/n 12450067. It's an additional four pin plug stashed in the column harness that you are looking for. List is $166, but most dealers sell it for less.

Yes after talking to 3 gm dealers and they all said adding a turn signal switch w/cruise would not work. I did and mine was not pre wired all the way to the switch and i ran 4 wires to a fuse block and it works perfect.
