I've had my bullydog LLY tuner on level one for a couple weeks now and I love it. I regained the mileage I lost when I went up to the 285's from stock tires. I'm getting about 17mpg on the freeway and around 16mpg in mixed driving so far. I also regained the performance I lost when I put on the larger tires. It allowed me to change my speedometer for the new tires and now it reads within 1mph of my GPS.

The truck runs super smooth and even on level one if you want to make a little cloud of smoke it'll do it. Now we're not talking freight train smoke like some of you guys are making but enough to make cars behind you jump out of the lane ;)

My only complaint so far is when the engine is cold the truck will buck when backing out of the driveway. Although if i let it warm up a bit longer this usually doesn't happen. That and the volume of the engine knocking is a bit loud before it comes up to 180 degrees but I'll just live with that for the increased performance as I figure it won't hurt anything.

I don't have any extra gauges yet so I don't and won't know if it caused any changes in the EGT but since my truck doesn't pull heavy or very often it probably won't make much of a difference to me. Still going to get some gauges when the bank account allows for it. You guys have me hooked on this stuff :ro)

All in all it was worth the money for me.

I have the power pup also and the timing knock bothered the hell out of me so it is sitting in the tool box the power was ok on level 3

As the truck runs on the power pup more and more the timing knock seems like it's getting quieter. Maybe I'm just getting used to it or going deaf though...

i set up a few on lly and the guys really like them, said it knocks till engine is warmed up, then gone, good mileage as well, they also said when it is below 0, they find the same knocking noise even on stock, engine

A Bully Dog or Quad box produces engine rattle on any level I set them on.
Might as well run on the "kill mode" all the time. ;)
