Pretty much ,perhaps some additional additives depending on brand .... I see a drop of 1 to 2 miles in lose in fuel econo ..... It's the price that pisses me off ....

If you're not way up north some suppliers don't add #1 any more they just run anti-jell additives instead.

I hate the winter. Price of fuel goes up and the power and mpg goes way down. Edited by: Coghlin

I don't know if the winter blend has caused this, or if its the warm up time... But I have lost about 2.5 mpg over the last month and a half.... Its hard to beleive just antigel would have an effect on milage... But the warm up time may have a dramatic effect... And I am sure #1 would lowwer fuel milage bad..

There are less BTU's in Winter fuel. Therefor less power, less fuel milage. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif
