I don't know if this it the right place to post this, but for a while now my truck has been exhibiting an annoying intermittent behavior of a constant ding right after shutting down and removing the key...It will go on until I either open the door, or shut off the radio...It kind of acts like the door is open with the keys in the ignition...
Anyone else having this happen??

Yup...mine does it also. I cant get a pattern of why or when its going to do it. Sure friggin annoying thou.........

Do you have automatic off-on headlights? It sounds like it's not recognizing the auto. system and "dinging" as if you removed the key with the headlights on. Try putting the headlight switch in the manual off position and then removing the key. If that cures it, maybe a re-flash. Check with dealer. Good luck!
