I bought a two gauge holder, painted it Chevy ebony and mounted it in the driver's corner of the dash, where it is directly in my view. The guages are PPE boost and EGT. I drilled and tapped the EGT on the driver's side manifold and the boost guage unit was drilled and tapped on the aluminum piece directly behind the alternator (that was a fun chore removing that item). I routed all the lines through the firewall up into the driver's side pillar. I drilled a 1/2" hole in the pillar and put a rubber grommet to clean up the hole. I hope my photos came out.

x2...install looks very clean. A good alternative to a-pillars or the Trippin' option by the reading lights.

I've been looking for a guage pod to mount on the dash. I don't like pillar or cubby hole or overhead consol mounts. Where did you find yours? How much $?

Nice install. Thanks for the pics, that helps out a lot when I plan to put mine in. About how long did it take you to install?

Red, it took me a couple of hours to get it done............Shep, the unit cost about $40.00, and another few bucks for the paint.

Very nice looking setup! What psi boost are you seeing with the guage installed where it is?
