I really wanted to get a set of the Chrome GMC bullet trim for my '01 Silverado, but I was driving down the highway one day a couple months ago, and seen a GMC truck(looked like a base model) with black textured bullet shaped trim on it, just like the regular trim, just not chrome.. I dont think it was necessarily paint to match either. Does anyone have this type of trim or know where someone could get it? Thanks

Yes sir, that looks like what I'm after, but, altho it looks like what I'm after, the truck that I seen, looked to have the same texture of the stock door handles, It was in passing on the highway so maybe I'm wrong.. Got any more info on that truck? Thanks

Well GM lists 2 different types of trim when you look them up on Partszoneonline.com or one of the other sites, Chrome back or Black back, I'm wondering if that is the black back. I love the clean look of my truck with no trim, but I think it'd go fine along with the black toolbox and pretty much every other accessory that's going to be on it. I do not want the chrome ones. i think the 03 and older has some of it that goes on the bed too just mot the door.

Its your dads truck correct? Does it have the same type of texture as those fender flares that it has, mine has the same flares. I like the clean look to the truck, but also fear my truck getting wrecked at Walmart or the Mall. So I'd like to add this, and the black wouldnt stand out on my already black truck, see avatar pic.
