I installed a D3 in my truck and I hate that you cannot watch a movie (bypass done) and operate the Nav system at the same time. So, I had an idea to remedy this problem. Since I have a laptop setup on a Ram mount, I can watch movies on it while letting the D3 guide me down the highway. The problem that I am having is that I sure would like it if I could get the audio from the laptop to play thru the D3.
Does anyone have any idea how to do this if it is even possible? I did try buying a mini plug to go from the headphone outlet on the laptop into the unit but no cigar.
