Is there anything we are supposed to do besides filter and fluid changes? I am mechanically inclined but VERY transmission ignorant. Are there any bands to adjust or anything else I should be doing after 181,000 miles? Thanks for any help guys.

The 4l80E is all electronic control, if you have any issues pop up it will throw a code and your service light will come on. as far as maintenance just keep it serviced... though I am not a professional .

If you mean changing the filter and fluid, I've been very good about that. I have a B&M pan that I put on simply because it would make the fluid easier to change. Is that enough? Thanks for the help. With all these miles I've been wondering if I'm doing enough..........?

I just wanted to make sure you weren't gonna do its first service at 181K. Could be opening a can of worms. But if you have been on top of it with fluid and filter changes you will be fine.
