I'm going to be ordering a truck again this week, just wondering how GMSD works.

If you are authorized, you get a registration number through your employer's link to the GM site. You register and then supply that number with your dealer. You also are also entitled to all rebates and incentives. The remaining discount and your trade-in if you have one is between you and your dealer. I don't know if I got a "great" deal, but I got a deal I could live with. The following is the breakdown I got in round number:

MSRP: 52,000
GMSD 4,400
Rebate/Inc 3,500
Trade 20,000
20,600

Like he said, you can also (and I did) use it for two vehicles a year. I also get Chrysler and Ford supplier pricing.

I've used it to buy at least 10 vehicles in the past, the thing that's nice is all you need to haggle about is the trade in value.

Jason, it's an agreement between companies. For example, I work for a major airline who negotiates travel rates with an auto manufacture. I suppose part of the deal is that the auto corp then give the airline employees a Supplier Discount.

Hey Max, my dealer gave me a Supplier discount twice ( 2 vehicles) They told me each dealer gets " allowances" . So Make them give you one!! Good Luck!:)
