I met a GMC with blue running lights, sure looked cool. Where can I get some and what are they called?

I'd be willing to bet they're illegal.

X2...double check your local vehicle laws regarding lights. Some areas, blue lights are only allowed for emergency/law enforcement vehicles, and it's a ticket - some areas more severe than others.

Alot of vehicles I've seen lately have headlights and/or driving lights that look blue until you get right to them, not a true "blue" but really just have a blue tint to them

if there in the front its a ticket. freind had led white cab lights and was issued a ticket. driver distraction. but he even said if he wanted to be a dick he could say impersonating police lights. big ticket

dmv code states all lights in front shall be white.. all lights in back to be red..yellow turn signals are not legal by dmv code but not enforced. Running lights are closely looked at because of the 18 wheelers who love lights of any kind and any number. Oh also the height is in there too thats where the white running nabbed a ticket prob.

Never knew that yellow turn signals on every car ever made was illeagel?? Pretty sure your not right on that one. I think it is red only in the rear, yellow or amber only on the sides, and white headlights and yellow or amber lights toward the front. "white" is a very large place on the light spectrum.

mn state law is 4 white lights on at one time in front of vehicle is legal anything else is a ticket or warning ticket. his led cab lights were very bright and that is the first thing i said to him. but we all learn. my father in laws freinds son said he got a warning for having the line of fire on in the back of his truck. did not talk to him to confirm it but that cop must of been board. i see them everywere on trucks.

the dmv code was written before amber turn signal lights were around and I dont think the code was ever addressed to updated to allow or disallow any other color other than white toward the front. I think you are right on the broad spectrum of "white". Get a little water and age and my old signals turn yellow by themselves.
