So much for the push on the bumper test!
I started to notice the rear hopping at around 36,000. It would only happen on cetain road conditions. Pretty much smaller, but rapid bumps. Also noticed not as much contol in the turns and more body sway. Heavy bumps were very harsh. If you tried the old push on the bumper trick it would pass.
Once the shocks were removed as you compress and decompress it would stick and bind along the way. They also compressed and decompressed without much pressure and had a bad quishing sound. I figure they were gone a while ago and just kept getting worse.
The new ones are in and what a difference. The tires really hold the road and no more sway and bouncing.
