for the guys who have painted the black plastic on the front bumper . how do you remove it from the metel bumper or do you leave it on

i just left it on and slid newspaper in between to mask it off and it worked great. make sure you use paint thats made for plastics , IIRC Krylon makes some

I removed mine. It really only takes a few minutes.

the bottom valance is a push pin deal There are a few that are hard to reach but you can get them. The bumper cover is a bit tougher You will need a good set of pliers to squeeze the flat plastic tabs together that push through the chrome bumper. You get to them from underneath. The easiest way is to remove the whole bumper and then take them off. To do that there are 4 bolts and its off very easy to get at to; 2 on the sides 2 in the middle !

its easy just prep good and use a good adhesion promoter and you will be fine .......but i would deffinetly take it apart to do it

I would also suggest sanding the plastic until its smooth. I did mine without doing that and although it came out ok, I would prefer the smooth look. I'm going to redo mine this spring.
