Well, mine has a brushguard on the front (not sure of brand) that sticks out about 5" from the stock bumper--from the front of that to the end of the reciever hitch is 21' 10"

If I leave the hitch in, it pushes me out to 22' 6" (more if I have the WD hitch for my toyhauler)

Squeeeeek comes to mind with a 7x9 door.

My patrol rig barely fits through my 7x9 door. There's about 2 inches of clearance on top with my low profile light bar. I have the towing mirrors on it as well. It fits w/o folding them in....by an inch or so. Don't know how much more the dually fenders would stick out.

My personal rig won't fit. Topper it too tall. Bumper to bumper it's about 22 feet.

It'll be really close. Is your measurement the inside dimensions with the door closed? My attached garage length is 23'-9" at the longest point (left-hand side), and my dually just fit, but I had to get out of my truck through the passenger door.

The bay where I park my dually is 24' long and it fits with a little more than a foot in front of it. It should fit in yours but it'll be tight. Wall-to-wall truck.

The stock overall length dimmension for a 3500 dually are:

Reg Cab Long Bed:.. 18' 8.7''
Ext Cab Long Bed:.. 20' 9.2''
Crew Cab Long Bed: 21' 6.7''

It will be tight but it should fit.

Nope, I don't see it happening. A one ton truck has always been a long bed with all three American truck manufacturers. Now I did see a concept truck by Toyota a few weeks ago, that was a dually that had a short bed. I'd be surprised if it even makes it to market.

Sorry, but Dodge DOES make a One-Ton Mega Cab short-bed dually.

I'm sorry, I didn't know that. I wouldn't want one even if GM made one.

It will fit. The door is tall enough and wide enough, but it will be tight. The garage is deep enough also.

My door is 9 wide and it's tight but fits. Mine is 30 foot deep though:D

Except now I do not keep the truck in there, I keep the 24 foot boat in there.

GM did make a short one ton offered in 1999 and 2000 classic.
If you do a search on here you will read about it.
I even ordered one in November of 1998, then changed my mind when they said mine might be one of the first off the production line. Also they could not get me a delivery date, so I changed my order to a long bed.

Like the questions on this thread, I wanted to park inside & only used the truck to pull my 5th wheel and never for work. So the short bed would have been better for me at the time.
