: Blind Spot Mirror

I have a 2005 Silverado LT with the electric extending trailering mirrors. The mirrors have the integrated turn signal arrow.

I am looking for a nice blind spot mirror that will attach to my existing OEM mirrors without making them longer - like the CIPA slide-ons would. I also don't want to obstruct the turn signal arrow. I do not want to stick a "fish eye" convex mirror onto the glass of my existing mirrors.

I passed a Dodge the other day (he didn't pass me) and he had what looked to be an aftermarket blind spot mirror attached to the top of his OEM mirror. It flowed very nicely with the shape of his mirror and looked like it was supposed to be there. Who knows - maybe this is a standard Dodge thing, but I wouldn't know because I have no interest in Dodge.

Does anybody have any good ideas for me?

Thanks!

It's a Dodge standard thing. The mirrors flip up and outward for towing where the wide angle portion will be on the lower left. I wish GM or another supplier offer replacement glass with the wide angle feature. Otherwise, the TTTs are the way to go.

Here is what I have. Works great for me. And here is a thread that shows a better pic. (http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7838&highlight=mirrors)

I tried the stick on convex mirror solution but it just didn't do it for me then I found the TTT mirrors and my problems have been solved :D Not sure if that's the kind of solution you're looking for but an idea anyway.

You had the factory extended mirrors? And then switched to the TTT's? I have been wanting to do the same. But, did not know how well they worked compared to the factory's. Really wished for a blind spot mirror also. Does the TTT's extend out as far as the factory one's Can you give out all the pros and cons of the TTT's compared to the Factory-:t .
Thanks in Advance

Diesel Dragon, I shot off a PM to earthcrusher as I didn't think brucestory really was asking about the TTT mirrors in this thread and I didn't want to derail it.
