ive mentioned before with some of my questions ( i know i ask a lot, sorry  ), but ive got white smoke when i start up. its mosty noticeable when starting below 0 C (32F), it gets really bad below -10 C (14F). i can take off down the road and leave a huge white smoke screen behind me up until my coolant temp reaches about 85C(185F). Even till a bit below there i can still floor it and get burst of white smoke sometimes.

funny thing is im not losing any coolant, oil is black, dex cool is... well dex cool colored. the smoke smells like diesel, so i dont think its a head gasket issue.

So what the heck is causing this? is it normal to have this much smoke when cold starting at these temps?

i have new glows, which go for about 8-10 seconds, truck starts ok even down to about -16C(3F), which is the coldest ive had to start it at. I also have a winter grille cover to help the truck warm up, and im running power service and two stroke if that makes any difference.

If my engine is gonna blow up i want to know:eek:

If you plug your truck in more than likely there would be no more smoke. The white smoke your getting is unburnt diesel.
