i bought the extendable/folding towing mirrors off someone here on the site which i replaced my factory folding mirrors.

here's what i'm experiencing:
- mirrors extend but don't retract
- mirrors fold in, but will not fold back out
- mirrors do not return to memory settings but to random settings, so I have to
adjust the mirrors every time i get into the truck

any suggestions?

Just a guess on my part, you may have to reprogram the Body Control Module. The additional functions you now have with the new mirrors may not be enabled.

oh man... can the dealer do that?

The BCM, IPC, DDM and PDM need to be reprogrammed for these mirrors to work correctly Dealer can handle it.
