I was installing my TTT mirrors today and while I had the door panels off I noticed that there was water in both doors. It had rained all last night and the truck is parked outside so I figure that it must have come in between the window and the rubber wiper. Is this a normal occurance for our trucks? I was worried when I saw it on the drivers side until I opened up the pass side door and found it the same way.

Water will get in but should not stand. Bottom of door has weep holes. These can sometimes plug with accumulated debris.

I'm going to be ordering my TTT's next week, how difficult are they to install?
Did you have to remove the complete door panel?
I tried once to remove my door panel but could'nt get the switch cover off without a fear of braking something so I stopped.

Yes you have to remove the compete door panel because the mirror wiring plugs into the power window switch. It is easy to get the door panel off and nothing to be afraid of. There have been a few posts here that demonstrate how. The biggest difference between our trucks and other brands is we don't use door clips. Our door panel use hooks so after you remove the screws the door panel slides up and off. Good luck.

It was super easy, I took my time and it took me about 3 hours from start to finish. The hardest part for me was splicing into the factory wiring for the running lights. I really didn't want to cut the factory wiring and the wire is way up under the dash and is really short so it's hard to work with. If you want detailed instructions I could pm them to you. The instructions that the mirrors come with are really good and easy to follow though.
