I noticed this evenin' that the fluid in the resevoir under the hood is at the low mark. Do I add fluid there, and if so, what kind do I add? Does it show full at operating temp? I plan on switching to synth. very soon. What is good to use for the ZF-6 besides Transcynd?

I keep mine between the full and low mark, After I changed to the South Bend clutch, I went with dot 4 synthetic fluid.

Thanks max1! I will see to this issue this weekend. The d-max is not my daily driver so it can wait. I plan on getting a South Bend at some point. Nothing extreme, just a little xtry. Did you do the install yourself? If not, can you recommend any good tranny shops?
