I have a 6" Tuff country lift and I'm needing additional height! I'm beating myself up for not getting the cognito 7-9. All I'm trying to do now is, make enough room in the front wheel-well's to clear a set of dura-flap mudflaps, running my wheel and tire set up that I now have. The truck rides excellent right now, so my ? is, can you run a set of leveling keys-such as "Ready Lift" that comes with the front shock extenders, to gain some additional lift in the front and by going to a larger block in the rear or getting a spring or two arched and added for the rear to keep the truck setting level and will the rear shocks be long enough? Any suggestions guys? Thanks

how much more height do you want? I have my 6" T.C. set at about 8" and have 6" deaver springs in the back and i could easily clear 37's, which i will soon be rolling. I think the ride is about the same as before i cranked the front up. I obviously i lost a little downward wheel travel by doing so though.

Do you have the 1-piece sub frame kit? I need about an extra inch would be perfect I think. But my 35's rub just a little if cranked all the to the left or right. I guess I could crank the stock keys some more, but I heard that really ruins your ride. I down to try anything.

What size wheel do you have and the offset. That can make a large difference with the 35's. I originally had 10" wheels and they rubbed, I switched to 8" and all is good and even a full lock and compression.

There 9" wide with -12mm offset, but i like the look of the truck now with the wheels that I have.

"Leveling" keys (IE: green andTruxx) equal maxxed out OE keys.

JMGAZ, I'm a little confused from your post. Are you indicating that a maxed out OEM key is equal to a non-maxed out leveling key (I.E. Green and Truxx) or are you indicating that the leveling key maxed will be the same as a maxed out OEM key?

I think he means that the maxxed out factory keys are the same as the leveling keys sold by truxx, or the green keys.

So guys, is it worth taking out the oem keys and adding the leveling keys? It sure be nice if someone has already tried this that could chim in. I got thinking also, right now the cv axle aren't 100% flat, but pretty close, by doing the leveling key or maxing the oem key, is it going to put them on too much of a bind?

Hey man, how is your ride? Do you have shock extenders or longer shocks or what?

It all comes down to where you are at in your front end travel. Check the space between the UCA and frame stop. You want to have atleast 3/4's between it so your truck will not start riding bad.

The ride isnt really much different than before. If i hit a big enough bump i can tell im hitting the bump stops but that doesnt really bother me. Im just running longer "cheap" shocks until i can do the double shocks and hoops.
