Is anyone using a laptop table with NBS that does not require drilling to install and is solid when driving with a 17" screen?
I have an old epitome brand table and the thing was never steady, even with a smaller laptop.
Any posts with web pages of vendors would be much appreciated
Thanks,

i have a joto desk that uses the two front pass side seat bolts. you can get extra brace support legs. however these legs have to be screwed into the floor. just google joto desk. the setups also have options of other holders for cell and pda's as well as lights and screen support arms.

This is the one I chose http://www.ram-mount.com/laptop_mount/ramvb159sw1_laptop_desk.htm. Zero complaints. I preferred this over the cable style retention on the jotto. This one has spring loaded sides. Wedge the left side out with the left side of the computer, place the computer flat, and allow the computer to slide to the right. My driver constantly takes his in and out. For when not needed, loosen a hand wheel and take the top of the stem and platform away. The lower portion sits snugly next to the center console.
There is a small secret to getting it in right. Follow their directions, but completely remove the nuts from the front of the seat and loosen the rears. Make sure you slide it UNDER the bracket from the center console or seat. When you slip it in, you'll know what I mean:cool:.
BTW, this a construction vehicle (07.5 2500 Z71 with 265 10ply's) and I've already had to straighten the skid plates, exhaust, and reattach the lower bumper from bouncing around off-road, alot. No complaints, except the assembly was odd. In other words, the directions to put it together, not to install it, were IFFY.

IIRC, I paid $225 and I found a dealer through the website. The jotto is very similar, but their laptop retention system was not not for me, as it required thinking and work on the part of my driver, especially if you take it out a lot..
