the MBRP exhaust i ordered last week, showed up today. boy was i let down. when i opened the box and found that the system did NOT have the 4 bolt flange needed to bolt directly onto the back of my cat.
part # s6000al

i also ordered the front pipe (for someone else), and it doesn't have the 4 bolt flange for him either...
part # gmal401

according to MBRP website, as well as AP Diesel Performance website (where i ordered it from), the system is supposed to be a direct bolt on replacement...

anyone have a suggestion to make it work?

Odd, I just received my MBRP and it had the four bolt flange piece... It's just one of those things that happens on occasion. Contact the company you bought it from or MBRP directly. I know MBRP would help you as they are great with customer service, but you may have to go through the company that you bought it from...

fireresource,

That was are fault and I've sent you an email. Things will be made right at no cost to you. The system that was sent was MBRP Part# S6004AL this system eliminates the flange and is actually pretty nice. It's still not what was ordered and as stated before this mistake will be corrected to your liking.

That should be a great lesson to everyone here........although mistakes in orders happen from time to time the Supporting Vendors will usually go out of there way to set things right. :ro)

It may have been a better exercise to phone the Vendor or PM them before going public over an honest mistake, give the guys a chance to fix the problem first before a post pops up.

Glad to see the issue is being corrected ASAP. :)

TONY I could see days going by with no response, but at least call the company first without going balistic. I know it's disappointing, but supporting vendors are almost always good for making things right.

you may want to change the thread title to:

"Wrong exhaust sent, vendor fixed problem as soon as he heard about it"

Looks like Aaron took care of it ASAP. Mistakes happen, we're all human.

I don't charge for advice...... .......and if you could see me NOW I would even give you a DUMB LOOK for free............):h ):h ):h

We all are guilty of jumping the gun.........as long as you stick with a reputable company they will always treat you right and usually make it up somehow......

So enjoy your Exhaust, many run an MBRP and have had positive things to say about them........
