Took the truck into the dealer because I was worried about injector issues. Just wanted some piece of mind. Here are my balance rates, is anything out of line? They said the return rate check was fine as well as the balance rates. They faxed me the results:

Injector 1 Command: 0.40ms
Injector 2 Command: 0.41ms
Injector 3 Command: 0.41ms
Injector 4 Command: 0.43ms
Injector 5 Command: 0.40ms
Injector 6 Command: 0.38ms
Injector 7 Command: 0.41ms
Injector 8 Command: 0.41ms

Balancing Rate Cyl 1. -0.5mm
Balancing Rate Cyl 2. 0.1mm
Balancing Rate Cyl 3. 0.0mm
Balancing Rate Cyl 4. 0.8mm

Is there an ideal pw? Like .2 or .3..which is better? Before my injectors replaced they were way higher, now all are .3ms......

They pulled the valve covers and did a return rate test?
Why did they send you the commanded?
Balance rates look very good...

checked with a tech2 and they said they were fine. I wanted more assurance so they did a return rate check. The only results they would fax was the Tech2 printout. Cost me $180.00 for the balance and return checks. Thats okay 180.00 is cheap piece of mind. My dealer is pretty chill with me. Because of everyone here I found out that balance rates don't always tell you the full story. The only code they found was a code relating to rich fuel mixture.. that would be because I left my tuner installed.

They didnt say anything about the tuner? I am suprised. The first time (of many) my truck went to the dealer they said my injectors were fine and that the "chip" in it caused the problems. I knew this was bs due to the return to stock mode on my Quad. Anyway they flagged my vin in their mainframe as having this "chip" in it. Long story short they opened the hood, saw the intake, and boost valve, reset the ecm, closed the hood and said she was ready, all in 3 days. I took to another dealer and voila, I had 3 bad injectors and had been driving for months. They never said a word about the mods. So you cant always trust one dealer.

they saw the tuner. mine is permanently mounted inline of the fuel system. in order for me to take it out i have to rip the wires and the box out and reconnect all the right harnesses. they told me its my chip that threw the rich fuel code (one half of my tuner increases the fuel rail pressure when it's set above stock). they didn't flag my VIN. I have done all of my major service at this dealer and they know me and know what I have installed. When I went in they told me they cant preform any warranty work unless I take out the tuner before they started work and i'm okay with that when it does come injector time again. This is my second set of injectors

i have the preditor programmer ...it shows some of these rates....so which is the best way to test them...in park in gear or what

test them in park and in drive at idle with your foot on the brake. They go up in drive about 3 points. Maximum in drive is suppose to be 6.

lol ;) I have less than 50k on my original motor. Second set of injectors tho.
