1999 Chev 1 ton 6.5L 2 month ago Truck started ran for 2 min stopped. Did This
for 4 starts - wated 30 min truck started ran normal for 2 months. Would not start. Use starting fluid - engine started ran normal for 2 weeks starting every time. Change lift pump and filter 2 weeks ago. engine will not start no fuel to injectors. Need help were to start trouble shooting problem.

You can prime the filter by turning the key or jumping the fuel pump relay. then crank it with an injector line cracked to see if it's getting fuel while cranking. A bad ground off the IP harness, lack of fuel pressure or bad fuel shutoff solenoid will all mke it stall/no start as well as the driver for the pump.

Just a suggestion, but you might want to pay QM to come help you since he lives close to you.

I have had QM over a couple of times. It is well worth having him come over. It's hard to get him to take any money though. Usually he has the part you need in his truck. He is also a pleasure to be around he KNOWS these trucks.

Removed fuel shutoff solenoid and exercise solenoid several times replaced with new glow plugs got engine running thank with the help of QM - Truck on acceleration at 2500 rpm 55 to 60 tries to stall no problem at slow acceleration from 50 to 70 mph show code 238

Having looked over the truck, I'd say it's the welded shut WG(couldn't move it with my finger but I didn't pry at it with a screw driver. Code 238 is too much boost and the shutting off at 2500 is PCM shutting fuel down due to overboost.

The wg shaft could be siezed. I thought the engine was rusty like it had weathered some.
