Cognito, Sway-a-way torsion bars, deaver rear springs, and Bilstein shocks. My wheels are KMC Hoss in black. They are 18x9. All the specs are in the garage along with pics.

If you go with deaver rear springs instead of blocks is there any benefits? do deavers last as long as oem, do they sag more then oem undr load, do they make a notable difference in ride? if any body cares to chime in, just a few things I was wondering, sorry the thread jack..Josh

04hd todd - would love to see more pics of your truck, including your lund hood scoops and more angles of the lift. Also wondering what size your tires measure out to - they look bigger than a 33? Thanks - nice looking truck.

I have a TUFF COUNTRY 4" lift with 3" blocks in the back, I have the TC shocks that go with the lift, and of cource the 35" tires. I handle TC lifts and the spacers needed for the front wheels for the hummer rims.

Tony Burkhard and stocker how do you like the H2's they look sweet and i know they are cheap:)

im thinking for cost i may go with the rancho lift... what exactly is all invalved in lifting these trucks the 4" in... i have been reading a lot and have a good idea of what i need to do but if some one could post a list it would be very helpfull. thanks for all the responses guys. all your trucks look awsome!!!

I have used my truck for pulling 5th wheel trailers grossing out at rated GVW and with no trouble. If you plan on truck pulling I really recomend the TC lift, I have excellant tie rod and cv shaft angles, better than stock for pulling. The H2 wheels just need a small spacer (about .5") in the front unless you do offroading than you will need more spacer.

Depending on what you what to use as of upgrades, 2 kits that are vary popular are the Cognito 4" and the Tuff Country 4". Both kits are about the same in pricing but the Cognito comes with steering braces.

They are both spindle lifts that are the newer style that helps offset the larger tire diameter. You will add 3/8"-1/2" wider stance to either side on one of these kits.

I see a few people on this post runnin 4in and 35s. and Ive seen it on here before. To my knowlege you need 6in for 35s. Are you that say 4 meaning 4 cranked to 6? have you done tons of trimming?

I bought my truck with a Rancho 4'' lift and 35's, they fit fine...with minor trimming.

no problems at all towing gooseneck with the lift no matter what the load size is. I also sled pull with my truck through out the summer. when I bought my lift and cognito braces it was still cheaper than the cognito. look up jackit.com. As far as what it involeves i think you can download a set of instructions from tuff countrys website. look them over and see if your up to the task.

35" fit fine with very little trim work, just to the plastic under the bumper. and stock adjustment on bars.

i am selling my quad and when i get it sold i will call you Tony!!! i will probebly order from you, well depending how your prices compare:D..

you guys with the 3" blocks ever run into any problems with them? ive heard you really dont want to go any taller than a 2" block on the d-max's. i may be interested in a set of traction bars from you too Tony..

Tony Burkhard

I would strongly recomend traction bars with any blocks.
