poolman12 01-23-2008, 07:03 AM Have a 2006 long bed, with a top of the line Leer topper. Getting a 2008 long bed this week and would like to pull off and use on new. Does anyone know if it will fit new truck. A lot cheaper to paint to match than spend $ 1,800.00 for a new one. Thanks for any help. Have a nice day! mdjr 01-23-2008, 08:15 AM No, I have an o7 NBS that I just put a new Leer cap on because my Leer off the 04 does not fit. And Leer only makes the 100R right now for the new style trucks. Check out my garage for pictures. CaptnBud 01-23-2008, 07:34 PM In December, I traded in my 2003 Long bed in for a new 08 LTZ Long bed, I kept my Leer 122 cap which came off my 2000 prior to the 03. It is now installed and fits fine. The color is about a half a shade darker for the Silver Birch Metallic, but it depends on how you look at it. I am happy with the fit and that I did not have to buy a new one..
