Ok, I promise this is my last new thread tonight! I got my CDR valve ready to install (cleaned and painted). I am wondering the easiest way to hook it up? When I got it there was a molded rubber hose coming out of the bottom with 2 other hoses coming off of it connected to metal lines (got it from salvage yard). I am trying not to use these lines so am wondering if I can just run a hose from the intake to the Tuna Can, then another line to the oil filler where it normally goes. I don't have any idea where the original lines go and the ones I have are in bad shape, plus I want a cleaner look.

Any way you want to hook it up... As long as the can is positioned correctly (right side up) and the inlet and outlet are correct. What's in between doesn't much matter. Line from the filler neck to the CDR, line from the CDR to the intake... Should be in good shape.

I assume the side that needs to be up is the side without the hose? Is it ok sitting at an angle, maybe 45º? Seems like that is the way I have seen them.

Yeah. It's actually probably marked the way it needs to go. It's not really critical though, they're not picky.

I just saw a picture of the CDR installed with the metal lines, looks like I may use the one that goes to the intake now that I know how it is set-up. I have the mounting bracket so I will probably go that route.
