I am looking to get a set of velociti 8's for my truck in 17 x 8.5 and I'm planning on running Nitto Terragraplers in 295 x 70 x 17 . MY problem is I don't know what backspacing to get they come in 5.14 and 4.5 . Also wondering if I would have any rubbing issues with these rims also my truck has the torsion bars cranked and a 1'' block in the rear . thanks

Got those rims on my rig but 16X8 with 315's under a 7inch ProComp lift. Call the boys at 4WheelParts. They will let you know your answer.

Later!

5.14, the 4.5 will stick out too much.

I bought mine a couple years ago and they are the regular Velocity 8's and not the XT's. Mine are 16x8 with I'm pretty sure 4.625 bs but maybe 4.5. I don't think they stick out too far cause your gonna trim a little anyway but you sure can't go with less. Go with the 5.14 if they clear inside OK. Good choice in wheels!

I have the Renegade which is basically the same wheel on my truck. My wheels are 4.5BS. I only run 258s and they do rub a bit but I like the wider stance. Here is a pic on my old truck:
