Well we are broadening our horizons and took in a poor little Jeep TJ. We are putting on a 5" Teraflex kit and I gotta say, I like lifting trucks alot better. Here are a few pics from yesterday and today. Will finish tomorrow and I will get more pics up then.

I've always loved Jeeps. I had a cj5 to drive through high school and I had a blast with it! Someday I'd like to get another one to play with. Good luck with the build

Take it wheeling and you will love it. My truck is simply a tool to tow my CJ7 places for wheeling. What other plans do you have for it??

Its willys damnit! Pronounced "will-us" mot willies! As in:
"What you talkin' 'bout Willys?"

Rant over.

The 4bt is way to huge to put in a flattie or cj5. over on www.earlycj5.com (http://www.earlycj5.com) we have a member putting a Mercedes 2.4 in his M38.

That TJ looks good, alot of people are very happy wit the teraflex stuff.

Jeeps kick ass off road.
the only reason I have my tahoe, and want a diesel is to pull my cj5.

and now, because I'm a pic whore... my 72 cj5 with an amc 304 V8...

It was hard enough to get a dropped pitman arm out of them, I don't think a one off set of revolvers will be on their agenda any time soon...:D

How is the spring rate on those 5"ers?

I had 3" Tera springs, they were way too soft. I sold them and got 4" Tera springs, they were better. At the time Tera didn't make 5" springs, so I put in some 3/4" spacers. It rode really nice.
I ended up selling my TJ to some guy in LV, over eBay. I think it was too much for him and he sold it shortly after. It had ARBs, snorkel, 4-3/4" sus. lift, 1" BL, Ford 8.8, 35 GY MTR's, custom 1 ton steering, Rancho 9000's, tummy tuck, SYE, ... . It was a great Jeep, I just didn't want 2 after I completed my other Jeep (it took me 2.5 years) http://members.cox.net/rockncj/ .

In my opinion, the springs were a little stiff, but not uncomfortable. I think this kit was too much for the owner but that is what she wanted. I don't think this Jeep will see any more than what stocker would see, a few back roads and a lot of city miles.
