Had a rare opportunity to ride in the passenger seat of my truck the other day, holy cow what a difference. It felt like a totally different truck. I didn't even realize how bad my drivers seat was, but it is sunk down way below the level the passenger side is. It's still pretty comfortable, but the leather is all torn in the usual place from getting in and out. If I can get the cushions and cover I'd like to try to do it myself. I re-upholstered an antique car a couple years ago and was pretty pleased with the outcome, so I don't want to throw away money at an upholstery shop if I can do it myself.
I thought about looking for a used replacement, but the chances of finding a decent one are probably real slim. So what's a good source for the parts to rebuild my seat?
It's a 97, power bucket with flip down armrest, light gray leather.
