I have read alot about air filters in a few different forums and the last thing I heard is the Fram air filter will start to come apart and release fibers into the engine. This info came from a Ford PS owner. Any body heard of this or have any opinion on using the Fram on my DMAX???

If you are going to keep the stock air box, run the AC Delco filter. It is well made, filters the best and flows well. Fram air and oil filters aren't what they used to be.

Run the OEM, It's been tested about the best for overall filtration and quality.

I run Napa(Wix) filters in my DMAX. Fuel, oil, trans and air. Never had a problem with quality and being able to get them.

Ed,

I think you should look at the study that Spicer conducted ...

Look at it and make up your own mind.. but for myself and many others here... AC Delco on the air filter is the only way... this is just more proof ...
