should have posted this sooner but ,over on the efi section ther is a timming spread sheet 50/50 timing calculator that a user (joshH )made to calculate timing using your camanded p.s.i & main pusle width usec, it works great I started using it on every tune i make, any one interested should check it out, the only downside is when used on efi you can cut and paste tables but hp tuners you have to manually fill in the tables, takes forever but you learn to skip some rows and smooth the table on . or if there are any excel wizards out there hook us up :D. you wont beleive what proper injection timing does for your power and egt's, my estimates turned out to be very low compared to correct timing on most of my tunes ! good timing explanaition articles too !

I've gotten permission directly from Josh allowing us to change the excel file to suite hptuners format, if anyone is interested in the undertaking feel free but make sure you give him credit where credit is due.

I know how but I guarantee it would take me several weeks of work just crossing the t's & dotting the eye's to get it to work right unless I can figure out an easy way to do it lol.

I don't have the programs with me at work but I think the only major difference is that the table have the axis transposed so you would just have to paste the tables from HP into a "scratch area" (sheet 3 for ex.) then transpose paste them into the calculation tables. Then take the result and transpose paste it to the "scratch area" and paste it back to HP.
EDIT
On second thought there may be a KPa / MPa conversion to do, I will have to look at that later.

no I dont, my truck is a lb7, I was hoping some one would know excel enough to hook us up but :( , after you do it the hard way a couple times you can guess pretty close just based on the amount of usec in your main pulse width. and dont be scared when your timming table is not even close to the same shape of the stocker . it should peak at your max point ( mm3 & rpm ) and piramid down both ways mm3 and rpm. hope this helps . any other questions let me know, and ps if you only fill in like every third row up to max and that should save a bunch of time on excel, and on hp tuners build your tables of the #'s you have and the ones you dont build a smooth piramid, hope this makes sense, easier to do than explain :D
