I Ordered a 3500 LTZ DRW on Wednesday and it didn't get pulled on Thursday. When I called my dealer on Monday he said he didn't get a order # because the system was down early because of the holiday. So I called today and he said the truck didn't get pulled by GM, but insures me that he has the allocation and that it's just that GM didn't pull the order yet and it will get pulled on this Thursday. I'm starting to get worried that he's not going to be able to get this order pulled. Any suggestions from someone that knows the in's and out's of ordering your input is appreciated! Thanks

It took a couple of days for my order to be pulled in December. The good news is that it only took three and half weeks to build and send out to my dealer!:cool2:

Good! I thought GM only pulled orders on Thursday. This is my 2nd Thursday and their last Thursday to get this order pulled. If it don't get pulled again today, I've just wasted 2 build weeks!

Just called and once again the order didn't get pulled! I cancelled it and going to another local that has allocation for three trucks this week. Hopefully I can work out a deal.

Just a little insite, Even if the dealer has the allocation that does not mean your order will be pulled. There could be constraints on your vehicle, ie. Diesel, package, or options. You should double check if there are any constraints on the way you have built the vehicle. Might not have anything to do with the dealer but with GM. Good luck with your order and I hope you get it filled quick...

Thanks Crew cab, I hope he would have figured that out in 2 weeks, Everytime I talked to the sales mgr. all he has to say is "it didn't get pulled yet" then I always ask "why" Then I get the "I don't know".

If the dealer is watching what constraints that GM has out for that week then we will not know why the order was pulled. If the manager knows his stuff he would be able to tell you what is going on and why the order was not pulled.

The way I do it is if there are any constraints I'll call the customer and inform him of them and let the customer make the decision on if he want's the options or order the truck with out them.

Exactly! For 2 weeks I was never told there were any constraints, just don't worry, I don't know why it didn't get pulled. I don't want to deal with someone that I have to hound to try to find out what's going on all the time, I want a Mgr. that's on top of his game!
