Anyword on DTT? They said after the first of the year... No update on the website, and still nothing on this board. Does anyone know anything?I spoke to Shanti and Stefan yesterday. The Website will be updated somewhere around the 15th of the month. They have been extremely busy with their dealer training.

Feb 1 I get the opportunity to 'work in the wings' on the dealer training as they do a RE and RE on my truck.

It is worth the wait. That is all i can say for now;)

Call DTT or Mass Diesel and they will be able to fill you in better.

My tongue is still tied.... for now

Untie the tongue and put a set of Juice Grips on it. So tell us when this is all done about DTT? I am getting ready to start seriously looking for a tranny upgrade, and want all my ducks in a row.

If I put the Juicegrips(TM) on my tongue and wiggle it, Shanti has promised to use them on another part of my anatomy on arrival.

There is a lot to this transmission, I am really excited to see what their approach to pricing will be.

I can tell you this. Abusing the trans while hot shotting with loaded trailers has not fazed the tranny at all. Single disc convertor has not slipped, shuddered or skipped a beat while towing heavy at 500 RWHP (darn EGTs are a bit on the hot side though)

So, having said that, If you can wait a couple more weeks there will be information forthcoming from DTT to make the wait worthwhile.

On Edit: DTT has graciously allowed me to participate in their R&D of this transmission and they DO monitor what I say in threads. So long as i am not stating anything technical that they wish to reveal when they introduce their product. So, it is time for me to grab another cup of ):h

Rumor has it that if you get caught wiggling they will use Juice grips repeatedly 1mm at a time! Starting from the end and working there way up.

I want to have all the info to my dealers tomorrow and on the website by the 15th. Don't worry guys there will be pictures for those who need to see pics like me. :) I will have pricing on there as well. And sorry for taking so long, but it's been crazy trying due daily work, web stuff and working with our turbo building the twins for my D-Max:ro) . I think you guys are gonna love how these twins are gonna look.

As long as they bolt on to my truck before it leaves the shop Stefan... I have a definate 'lack of air' problem.

Stefan... you have an LLY, so you are saying you have enough fuel that you need twins for your truck?

.....or is the twin set up for an LB7?

Stephan has a LLY truck

Why does he need twins? Does he have more fuel than everyone else with an LLY?

Well Juice wants them on his truck so it's a LB7, I'm sure.

Interesting stuff

Maybe;)

The best part is, I'll have Stephan's truck to 'gopher' with in between sweeping the shop floor, getting lunch, working on whatever Bill/Shanti want me to work on:o I'll have to let you know how much fun it will be with twins:ro) Depending on how many cups of SCensored TCensored FCensored UCensored i get served.

Great fun to be there.... good food, good people, pleasant staff.

And neat toys to work on.... Drag Cars.

Meet Other BOMBed trucks/owners and be able to put faces to names.
Visit s'more NWBombers and Family Etc.

You guys want me to take photos this time?

If they hand you a 2x4 and a sheet of sandpaper and ask you to make them a toothpick, you know you are getting in the way. ):h

U PLIK!

LOL... Actually Tony, Bill's method is simpler. He hands me a broom. Or points to a toolchest and a stack of transmissions earmarked for teardown. I can proudly say, I have taken a couple allisons apart.... do you know how hard it is to remove the steel pressed in locating pins (Dowels) out of an Allison?
It took the biggest set of Juicegrips(TM) I own and 1 tug short of an aneyurism to remove them (try it one day ... you'll see)

That said, They very patiently explain each step of the build with me (I am sure they have answered the same question 100 times over in dealer training) which is really cool. It does not make me an expert, but it helps to understand the reasons behind thier approach.

As Mac said a while ago, there is only so many ways to skin this cat:D
Since Mac likes to do the 'Can you feel me now' routine, I thought he might laugh at this.):h
