Has anybody have troubles with in dash 6 disc cd changer.
My unit just says intializing. Disc stuck in transition.
Any suggestions Thanks in advance:confused:

I just have the single disc player, but it had a similar glitch last weekend while I was switching between listening to a CD and the radio. The display flashed bright (this was at night) and then the clock reset. I didn't loose my radio presets but the CD player would not work. The CD is still in it, but there isn't the disc indicator anymore... I can't eject the disc either. I'm stuck!!

Has anyone else experienced this and nows what it takes to fix? Must go to the dealer? I gotta have my Shinedown CD back!

Never had any problem with the CD player but with XM radio we don't use the CD unit at all.

Try pulling the Radio fuse under the hood, it should reset the radio/cd. It worked for me.

Thanks Banshee Will try that in the morning. But kind of skeptic because #4 disc Stuck and won't change positions or Eject. Bummers. Guess if that does'nt work will try the dealer. Anybody else have experience at the dealers on what they would do? Mahalo in advance

Tried pulling radio fuse and reinstalled. Know when trying to eject it says " no Disc" . And there is still six disc in unit. Any suggestions?

im having this same issue right now...gonna go outside and yank the fuse ..see if that helps at all.....brb

I had the same message with the unit in my wife's trailblazer.

Stealer had to replace the unit, and I got my CD's back about a week later. Hope you have better luck
