Was going to install my Grille Cover today on my `02 to see how it fits, ( going to Colo. next month ) and there is no place to fasten the snaps at the top as per the directions. How did you guys do it ??? Am I missing something ? :mad: :mad:

The snaps just go together both parts are there, I'm not quite sure why they made it that way but after you put the tab in push it down to snap it.

robabner, do you mean the top of the push pin goes into the female snap ???

Carefully pry up the center pin in the push-pin (sometimes it will come completely out - not a problem) it expands and locks the outer pin. With the center pin up or out, the outer pin will come out of the shroud. put the whole pin through the hole in the little fabric tab with the male snap on it and replace the push pin and lock it down with the center pin with the male snap up and facing the front of the truck. The flat tabs on the bottom of the cover need to be bent back (towards the white inside) into "J" shape to hook under and onto the inner edge of the grille. I toss mine into the dryer for a minute or two (just enough to get it warm) - start a a bottom corner and work your way across hooking and squeezing the J tabs onto the bottom inside edge of the grille. Hook sides and stretch up and snap the top snaps last.

Thanks guys, I realized I don`t have the 4 tabs for the top of the cover. Don`t know what happened to them since I have never looked at these covers since I got the truck in Sept of `01. I may have to order them at the dealer. Thanks again. :)

Mine were in a small plastic bag stitched into the top seam of the grille cover. Have you completely unfolded and looked in the cover for the tabs?

My computer has been down since last Fri. and just got in back today. I didn`t find any tabs attached to the grille cover, but will check the other part of the cover. I got 4 from the dealer today, so I may have 8 of them now. Thanks,
