Ok so i installed a Omega MARS-22 auto start yesterday with a bypass thats basically a relay that has a resistor on it that is the same resistance as the passlock has when turned to RUN ( ohms were 6.07k, my resistors are at 5.97k. maybe not enought resistance?) but my prob is that when the truck is warmed up ( glow plug light not coming on) the remote start does not work and also the security message is on constantly when the truck is on. Could it be that thier is not enough resistance or something else? the remote start is hooked up to the glow plug so it wont start till its off and i know thats hooked up and programmed rignt.

If it's a "wrong resistor" problem, the engine will crank, but not recieve fuel. What year is your truck? I don't believe you can use a resistor for the passlock on '03 and newer. The BCM has to recieve a "databus" signal from another aftermarket module to be happy (no security light).
